02 The Horizon Boulder Opal
This amazing opal was found on the 24th of February 2005, 81 kilometres north west of Quilpie at the Bill Mine, Australia. The Horizon was found at a depth of 17 feet below the surface, under the desert sandstone. The Horizon is on display in our store window in Katoomba. This is a very rare piece of museum quality.
